Lakshmi Narayanan filed complaint against Oyo Life on Jun 4, 2019
My case happend by dec **** and not yet resolved.
I've moved to OyoLife by * Jan ****. So I'm asked to pay my security
deposit Rs.***** and Rent Rs.***** before moving in. I've paid my
security deposit by **/**/**. I paid my rent on **/**/**, but due to
error it was paid twice (***** + *****) and I've received bill for
only one transaction.
I've asked oyo regarding it and they said they receive only one
payment. I asked for a written statement for the transaction I've
made. It stated that both the transaction was valid and oyo accepted
both the payment. Only after sharing the written statement from the
bank to Oyo, oyo accepted that they've received the money. When I
asked for it they simply said that the amount was charged back to my
account, but I didn't receive any money from their side.
After asking them daily for * months they have shared a screenshot of
the transaction that happened on **/**/****. It clearly shows that the
charge back amount was "*" (I've attached the screenshot shared by
them below).
I got frustrated and wrote about it in twitter, then their social
media escalation team contacted me and gave a simple screenshot of the
charged back transaction. It did not have any details of the
transaction except a reference number. It didn't show from whom or to
who the transaction was made. (I've attached the screenshot as sent by
oyo customer care)
I've even tried to contact my property manager. But he doesnt even
show up in the property or attend the call. He'll simply ignore the
call. When asked customer care for this they don't give you proper
answer. It's been * months but no improvement or support from oyolife
escalation team.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
