NTA National Testing Agency - Double Payment Deduction for Exam Request for Refund

I am filing this complaint regarding a refund issue for the SWAYAM (January **** Semester) examination fee. Despite multiple attempts to contact the concerned support team, no resolution has been provided.

On April **, ****, two identical payments were deducted for the same examination fee, amounting to ₹**** each (total ₹****). This was clearly an instance of double payment for a single registration.

Despite submitting the request along with valid transaction reference numbers and proof of payment, there has been no further response or refund issued.

Repeated follow-ups with the official support team have not yielded any resolution. Furthermore, the bank has confirmed that both transactions were successfully processed from their end.

I request immediate intervention to ensure the refund of the excess amount (₹****) that was wrongly deducted. I also request that appropriate instructions be issued to the examination authority or payment gateway to expedite the refund process.
