Miele G **** SC ACTIVE FREE STANDING DISHWASHER WAS BOUGHT ON ** TH NOV **** WITH * YEARS WARRANTY UPTO ** TH NOV **** UNDER MIELE STANDARD WARRANTY OF TWO YEARS. BASED ON THIS WARRANTY, RUSTING ISSUE WAS REPORTED IN BENGALURU FOR BASKET. THE COMLAINT WAS ATTENDED BY MR. SRIKANTH, BENGALURU TECHNICIAN. AGAIN THE MACHINE IS SHIFTED TO KOLKATA SINCE THE OWNER OF THE MACHINE WAS TRANSFERRED TO KOLKATA. THE COMPLAINT WAS REGISTERED WITH MIELE INDIA FOR RUSTING ISSUE SECOND TIME OCCURENCE. BUT MIELE HAS DENIED THE SERVICE REQUEST STATING THE CUSTOMER HAS TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR TRAVEL ALLOWANCE TO REPAIR THE MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Consumer forum has to take severe action against this company for denial of customer complaint and asking customer to pay for travel charges to attend the defect caused due to manufacturing. It is never mentioned in the warranty terms that customer has to pay the charges for travel in case of manufacturing defect or any defect in the machine. It is mentioned that Miele will bear the charges for travel if the defect is found and accepted by the team. So Miele India is cheating customer and deviating from the warranty terms
