Bhagwath Vadyala filed complaint against IKEA INDIA on May 13, 2019
I have ordered IKEA kitchen planning and installation services recently which was supposed to be completed by May *th **** which they have not been completed fully. As per my final kitchen
planning design I agreed to pay *,**,*** which as per the final agreement which I am attaching includes chimney. That was what I was promised and that was what I thought I paid for i.e. including ANPASSA chimney. But now they say that as per the bill I have not paid for the chimney. But as per my final agreement with IKEA which I clearly agreed upon says I was told I am paying the amount which includes the chimney. The final design which I have also included chimney. When I was paying the total amount I was told I am paying was including the chimney because the chimney was always included in all the designs including my final design. The agreement clearly states that I only need to pay for chimney installation which is Rs ****. Even the chimney installation guy whom IKEA assigned also came to install to the chimney and found no chimney in the goods provided by IKEA and could not install. So now they are saying I should be paying separately for the chimney which as per the agreement which I signed already paid. Before signing I took the copy of the agreement which I am attaching and IKEA clearly has this original copy signed with them. If I was told the total amount includes chimney I clearly thought that is the budget I will be spending for my kitchen and now I can no longer spend any additional money and that is the budget I was told and allocated. IKEA INDIA ignored all my requests and calls and left my kitchen installation incomplete. Now since they have not completed the full installation and also did not complete final inspection promised by IKEA and fix all the issues, now my kitchen is incomplete even after me spending all the amount planned with IKEA installation. Now I have to spend much more than I planned to include other local vendors and other people to fully complete my installation. For causing complete damage for kitchen and not completing the full order I request you to strongly punish IKEA and provide me with the necessary compensation. I also request you strongly punish IKEA India for not making any attempts to fix this issue even after my repeated warnings. Now because of this, I will be losing the amount which I was supposed to get immediately after May *th. Due to the delays and proper days not available it is possible the move in date has to be moved by *-* months. The arrogance of IKEA has caused me a huge loss now.
