Amri hospital salt lake kolkata - Denial of accepting the Sastha Sathi Card at AMRI Salt Lake Hospital

Dear Sir,
We would like to inform you that our patient Mrs Chandana Mondal (residing at Kotalpur of Bankura District) has been suffering from high fever with severe breathing problems. She was admitted to a local nursing home and became more serious. Ultimately, she has been shifted to AMRI, Salt Lake Hospital by an emergency ambulance service (at night on ** June ****) for diagnosis and recovery.

The emergency department of AMRI Hospital suggested admission to ICU and advised oxygen support. We have requested to admit her through the provision of the Sastha Sathi Card provided by the Government of West Bengal. In spite of our earnest request, we tried unsuccessfully to get her admission using Sastha Sathi Card. In that critical situation, we had no way to rescue the patient and we paid a certain amount to get admission to the ICU and in the next day again the Hospital authority asked to pay another one lakh rupees urgently for her treatments. We had a discussion with Mr. Dipankar Mitra and Mr. Manas. In spite of our humble requests, they didn't accept our Satha Sathi card for the treatment of Mrs. Chandana Mondal.

Therefore, we are submitting our grievances before you for an immediate solution to accept our Satha Sathi Card for her treatments. We would be extremely grateful if you can resolve this issue at the earliest possible. We are now in a very helpless situation and waiting for your kind support in this regard.
