I ordered **kg of kaynat premium quality jeera masino Rice (₹****) from a local delivery app called Jhatpat in Motihari, Bihar. The rice was delivered after * hours, but upon opening the sack, I discovered the product was not only of poor quality but also wrongly delivered.
Here are the main issues:
*. Wrong Product Delivered:
I ordered Kaynat jeera masino rice, but was delivered kayanat sonam steam rice — an entirely different product.
*. Severely Low Quality:
The rice was mixed with various broken grains.
It contained small stones and insects (ghoon).
The rice looks dull and smells old — definitely not fresh.
*. Failed Cooking Quality:
Even after washing thoroughly, the rice turned out to be chewy, sticky, and not flaky at all — far from authentic Indian rice texture.
It was completely inedible and unsafe.
When I contacted Jhatpat’s customer support, they refused to refund or replace, simply because the sack had been opened.
This logic is unfair and unacceptable — how is a customer supposed to know the quality without opening the sack?
I have photos and videos proving the condition of the rice and the wrong product label. This is a clear case of fraud, negligence, and denial of consumer rights.

Assurance that such incidents will not be repeated with other customers
Option to return this defective product.
