This is regarding a DTDC package (ID: V********) that was dispatched from Dimapur, Nagaland to Bangalore on **th May. It arrived in Bangalore on **th May but was delayed till *th June. The recipient was waiting because the item was perishable but the delivery person did not show up and instead made an entry into their system saying the receiver was not available. That is impossible because the address (IVRI) is a central government institute with security guards at the gate who were informed to expect the courier. There was no phone calls made to the number posted on the courier package either.
The invaluable contents of the package are no longer usable as these were biological research materials (exempt - not belonging to Category A or B, non hazardous).
Customer care is not providing any explanation.
