Subject: Legal Notice for Deficiency in Service and Unreasonable Delay in Delivery of Consignment
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am constrained to issue this formal complaint in the nature of a legal notice regarding the inordinate and unjustified delay in delivery of my consignment booked through your company.
The consignment bearing AWB/Consignment No. __************________ was handed over to Safe Express on _**/**/****__ from ____Nagaon______, with an assured/expected delivery date of ______**/**/****____. Despite the lapse of a reasonable and committed delivery period, the consignment remains undelivered as of today.
Such delay constitutes a clear deficiency in service and unfair trade practice within the meaning of the . Your failure to deliver the goods within the stipulated time, coupled with the absence of any satisfactory explanation or proactive communication, reflects negligence and lack of due diligence on your part.
Due to this delay, I have suffered considerable inconvenience, mental harassment, and potential financial loss, for which your company is liable.
In view of the above, I hereby call upon you to:
Immediately deliver the consignment without any further delay.
Provide a written explanation for the delay.
Compensate me adequately for the inconvenience, mental agony, and any losses incurred.
Please take notice that if the above demands are not complied with within * days from receipt of this notice, I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against Safe Express before the competent Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, at your risk as to cost and consequences, without any further reference to you.
This notice is issued without prejudice to all other legal rights and remedies available to me under law.
