Pnb - Delay in clear the cheque

I have given Rs. *,**,*** of SBI Bank, Cheque no. ****** on *-*-**** to PNB Belagunj Branch, Gaya. This is local cheque, but it is more than ** days but cheque not cleared yet. When I visited PNB bank then Branch Manager and their staff tell your cheque will clear in one to two days. But more than ** days it has not cleared. It gives me moral harassment and mental stress. So, I want to lodge complain against this corrupted bank and want compensation from Bank due to delayed and not cleared cheque yet.
