Vallabhu Mohana Siva Srinivasa Raju filed complaint against Jbl BLUETOOTH Speaker on Feb 14, 2022
Respected Sir/Madam,
I would like to inform you that I have purchased JBL Flip* Bluetooth Speaker on **/**/**** and I have identified that this speaker is notwithstanding with battery backup I have raised a complaint on **/**/**** informing them about the issue by calling JBL Harman Customer Care (**** *** ****) and I have followed their instructions to reset and check if the problem is there. As per the customer care team instructions, I have done all the steps and still, it is not working properly I have called them back and informed them that it is still not working.
The customer support team has then raised a complaint with Reference no AP-E******-***** related to my product issue and they have informed me that as there is no Service Centre available near to my Location JBL Service team is going to pick up my product through courier and they will get it repaired and again they will send the speaker to my location through courier only.
On **-**-**** I have received an email from donotreply@prismonline.net stating all the instructions to be followed to pack the product and how to submit my product to courier partner. I have followed all the instructions and packed my product since then I was waiting for the courier partner to call to hand over my product. I have been waiting for this and I never received any call from any courier partner I have informed the same to Customer care team on **-**-**** and they have informed me that my product will be picked up in * working days need to wait accordingly.
Surprisingly I have received an email from the JBL team saying that they wanted to hear from my side and I was shocked to see that mail and immediately called to JBL HARMAN Customer team on **-**-**** and they informed me that courier people called me and I have not received a call from them and Customer Team also (Executive Name- Mohith) was so rude and he was telling that I have not received the call so only my product was not picked up. I tried explaining to them that I was really waiting for the Courier people and I never missed any call from anyone during that time but he was so rude and disconnected the call as well.
Immediately I called Ecom Express (Courier Partner) Customer Care on **-**-**** and enquired about my product pickup surprisingly they have informed me that their records have been updated that I have denied handover my product and they apologized for that wrong information and they also informed me that I have to speak to JBL team and need to raise a new pickup instruction. But the JBL Support team has denied raising a new ticket and they told me that for sure Courier partner will pick up my product very soon.
From Day **st January I have been calling Harman Customer Support on a daily basis and every day they have informed me very rigidly that have to wait it will be picked up very soon with no timeline every time they told me that I have to wait for some more days and sometimes they have informed me that I am not receiving calls from Courier team and seriously I am ready to take the calls list from Airtel if I received any calls during that time or not.
On *th February **** again I have called to JBL Harman Customer care team and I have requested that I will be traveling to Hyderabad where we can find Service Centers that CC team executive has instructed me through some nearest Service Centers in Hyderabad and also informed that I can get it repaired my product any of these service centers and I also raised a doubt as my Invoice Warranty date is completed on **-**-**** will it be repaired and they have told me that Service centers will be having access to my Complaint history and they will fix my speaker issue without any problem.
On the date **-**-****, I have visited Global Cell World, **-**-**/**, SALEEMNAGAR, MALAKPET, HYDERABAD ( Authorized Service Centre for JBL Harman), and they have denied taking my product for service as my Warranty period has been expired and they can’t help further. Immediately I have called JBL Support Team and they were also told that those people will not take it we will only pickup in the next few days. On **th February only I have clearly informed the team that I am going to raise a consumer forum complaint and I have made them mentioned in the Complaint history also.
Again on **th February **** I have called JBL Customer care and requested them that I will be paying the courier amount and I will directly send my product to JBL Service Centre through courier which is there in Bangalore as I was more concerned that courier people are not collecting my product and Service Centers are also not repairing as the warranty period has been expired. Even on the Date *th also they have told me that they are not going to accept products if we send them directly and they need to follow their instructions only. JBL CC team has also assured me that my product will be picked up at the earliest and I was literally waiting for the same.
I am writing this letter to inform you that today **-**-****, Again I have called the JBL Harman Customer Support team and I was shocked to hear their response and today they were told that my Complaint has been Cancelled on **-**-**** due to some technical issues and they are least bothered though I am calling every day they dint even informed at least for courtesy and now again they were telling that new complaint has been registered and again I need to submit my invoice again through WhatsApp chat and for that also they are not supporting.
Now it is a piece of clear evidence that if today I am not calling them back then my complaint was permanently closed and my product will never get repaired as it’s already warranty completed.
I have realized It’s my mistake that I have purchased a product from JBL without knowing that they don’t have any service centers nearby and I am surprised that such a well-known and respected company like JBL Harman could allow these kinds of fake promises to customers and cheating the customers without providing any Service support.
Of course, I would like a full refund or replacement for my JBL FLIP* Bluetooth speaker Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this matter and to outline how to intend to rectify the situation.
