I bought this chair around the **th of july, ****. It was delivered to me around the *rd of august and as soon as I assembled it I saw that the chair was tilted. I reported it to them and they assured me that they would get the issue sorted after a technician ascertains the exact problem. Hence came technician one. Once he admitted that there was a tilt, they said that they would put a washer on the chair in order to even it out. An external washer instead of replacing the internal component which has some sort of problem. When I refused, Harsh, the contact person at green soul, yelled at me saying this is what they are doing to all chairs now and that I should just accept it. When I repeatedly refused, they said they would send another technician. Enter technician two and three. They agreed that there was a tilt too and that they would now replace the bottom of the chair which was defective. Harsh assures us that if the chair is still tilted after this, they will replace the whole chair with no more problems. Once the replacement came, they sent another technician. Technician *. He assembled the chair with the replacement and the chair was still tilted. He said the problem was not with the bottom of the chair but with the upper portion of it. Note, even this particular technician said that a bush is only a stop gap measure and that it will wear out in a few months and that I should not accept it. Harsh refuses even replacement now. He says they will send another technician to 'investigate'. Enter technician *. He looks at the chair and admits the tilt. He says he will take it to his 'factory' and fix it. I ask him what he was going to do and he says he has to strip apart the chair to see what the problem is. I tell Harsh its a new chair and I dont want it to get stripped apart and he says he cant do anything and that I have to accept their 'final resolution'. Then this technician takes the chair, brings it back and no surprises, it is still titled!! One and a half months after I bought this chair, I have not been able to sit on it for more than ** mins. I have spent countless hours going back and forth with the customer care at green soul. They have repeatedly attacked me saying that I was not cooperating by not accepting the bush when in fact parts of the chair is defective and non fixable. The last technician who came says to me 'You have no idea how badly they have damaged the chair and I had to try and fix it'. He said he had nothing to do with the green soul company and that he was just a freelance mechanic. I needed a chair to sit and study for my UPSC exams. Not even one hour i have sat on this chair. Each hour I spent on the technicians, emails, text messages, phone calls is one hour away from my books. Not to mention the mental fatigue of fighting with them for what I am rightfully owed. More than money, they have robbed me of my time, mental energy and one and a half months of sitting on a comfortable chair that I could have if I had bought from anywhere else. In the **-** hours a day that I could have sat comfortably and studied on the chair, maybe I would have gotten one mark more. Maybe that would have made the difference between being in the rank list or not. The time I spent on this horrible product may have destroyed my future by robbing me of my time.
