DRS Dilip Roadlines Pvt Ltd - Damaged household items during transport

I had utilised the services of DRS Dilip Roadlines to transport my household items on **th Aug from Hyderabad to Delhi. GC No. *******. The household items were delivered in a damaged and unusable condition.

*. Furniture - bookcase, dressing table, shoe rack and cartons contents damaged with water.
*. Clothes were wet and dirty and had to be sent for dry cleaning and washing.
*. Damaged fridge, glass items, photo frames and mattress

I am claiming from the company a nominal amount of around Rs. **,***/- for the repairs I incurred for the dressing table, bookcase and shoe rack washing and dry cleaning of clothes dirtied in sand and dirty water-purchase of new broken photo frames, China plates and glass items, and claim for the shabby, unprofessional and irresponsible transport of the household items and mental agony caused to me.

My washing machine was not transported in a wooden crate. The TV was transported instead using one of my folding mattresses as support.

The company's carelessness in the handling of my household items has caused me to incur unnecessary additional repairs and purchase of items.


The amount that is being offered by the Claim department is a paltry amount of Rs. *,***/- which is not sufficient to cover the cost and mental distress caused.
