U Janakiraman filed complaint against IFB on Nov 12, 2017
case details:
i have purchased IFB maxi driyer (white- dryer) costing Rs.**,*** from girias investment pvt ltd. an authorised dealer for ifb Products on **.**.****. the dryer is guranteed for * years as per companies condition and same is valid till **.**.****.
on **.**.**** the dryer didn't function and clothes were not drying, i have contacted to Mr. Durai service engineer for ifb, after registering a complaint with their call center. he informed me that the dryer requires replacement of heating element and same is not readly available. hence, it might take a week to replace the defective part. as, i was leaving for us for *months and mr.durai asked me to call him on my return, then he will replace the defective part.
but, i have returned from us on **.**.**** and immediately contacted mr. durai for doing the needful and he adviced me to make a fresh complaing to their call center and also inform that our area (iyyanthangal) has been attached to poonamalliee center. accordingly, i have registered many complaints on different dates, with the call center, for which there was no action. having been frustated, i have called their vadapalan office during which they informed me to contact miss. priya (area manager of ifb) who will help me in getting the dryer repared.
i have contacted miss. priya several times in her mobile number **********, everytime I contacted her she used to assure me that, it will be attended before that evening, which never happend till the time of filling this complaint.
i am ** years old leaving alone and for my comfort of having not to dry my cloths in the sit-out, spoiling the look of enter complex, i have purchased the dryer and the same is not functioning. having purchased the dryer, i have not made any alternate arrangements for drying the clothes, on account of which i have suffered a lot of inconvenience and mental agony. hence, i request you to kindly take suitable action against the earring company and provide necessary relief to me for the deficiency of service by ifb.
