Country Vacations (now Country Club Holidays) - Country Vacations not providing services

*. We purchased the membership in Jan ****. We planned for a trip to Srinagar. While purchasing we were shown lot of properties in India with Srinagar as one of the property. Some days after we booked, we got to know that there are no such properties. We purchased the membership for a cost of INR ******/- + Credit Card Interest. When we escalated and made a lot of Shout on the entire sales team and mentioned about the FRAUD, They then arranged Affiliate property but told us to pay rent of INR ****/- per day. Why should I pay INR ****/- per night if I have purchased the package from Country Vacations? What is the benefit of having Country Vacations then? They then promised and settled by giving us an additional *N/*D Singapore Holiday. We still thought of planning another vacation in the future and checking the services of Country Vacations.

*. Our second trip, we booked at GOA, where we selected a resort "Country Club de Goa", which was not made available to us. We were given a different resort. We again thought that the Country Vacations i.e. Timeshare works as they will arrange wherever the property is made available. We keep getting calls from Country Vacations on AMC. Once they even pressurized us and threatened us that our GOA trip will be canceled if we don't pay the AMC. However, the AMC was already paid.

*. In the third year, when we were booking rooms @ GANGTOK, We were told NO ACCOMMODATION is AVAILABLE at the location. We requested for Nainital and Bhimtal, we got the same response. We tried this > ** days. During the sales discussion, we were told that we can book any time between ** days to ** days to get the rooms. When we try booking prior to ** days, it gives that BOOKINGS are not OPEN YET. When we try ** days and ** days, we get to know that NO ROOMS AVAILABLE for the booking. At the marketing/sales discussion, the sales team even told us that people easily get the booking while booking the location **-** days in advance. But seems it was a big LIE. You never get the bookings, even if you book ** days prior. At the time of Booking for Nainital, we kept escalating. Neither their Sales team responds Nor their customer care. They always reply after *-* mails, which takes *-* days from the day the first mail is sent. The customer care team responds after *-** follow-up emails and the response is ALWAYS that NO ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE. When you call them, their CALL CENTER is a place where the CALL ALWAYS drops.

*. Now, I have been trying to arrange a booking for Ahmedabad from **th December **** to *st January ****. I have been trying to arrange the booking since **rd September ****, but despite following up, I am only getting that there is no availability.

*. In ****, we thought of booking their Koregaon Park Club for our Daughter's birthday, and we got to know that the Club is shut down a Long period for renovation. We kept following up but no response.

I feel cheated but still thought as if they don't have direct properties, they will still arrange for affiliate properties. But it never happens. They have a standard response NO ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE.

*. The Country Vacations Sales team, don't give appropriate time to read the agreements. The agreements are not pretty clear and mostly the legal terms, which a normal individual may not be able to understand. The agreements are shared and signed only after the payments are done. That means all false promises which they make are only till the time you make the payments. Once you have paid, you are no more.

*. I made this purchase from Country Vacations, Pune office. Now when I try their contact number, it doesn't work at all. ***-********. When you call the Centralized Customer Care, their CALL CENTER is a place where the CALL ALWAYS drops.

*. Their Manager - Mr. Sumit Papani,+**-**********, ********** sumitpapani@countryvacationsmail.com, He never picks up the call, never he replies to the emails. Whenever Sumit picks the call, he directs the call to Revathy. Post that I kept following up with Revathy, she also doesn't pick the call.

*. For Jim Corbett, **-**th June ****, Country Club team told me that there is no availability. I got a quotation from an external agent of INR *****/- for * nights and * days. How can I get the availability from an external agent but not from the country club for their own property?

*. Their team calls us many times for the offers on AMC, AMC renewal, etc. If we cannot get vacations, What should we pay the AMC for?

I request you to please help us in getting the Refund of the contract. We want to cancel the Contract and avail the refund. I also request the Government to please help in getting some Governance, Audit in place on Country vacations on how they sell their packages, what promises are made and what is the percentage of their customers/members who get the vacations. I request the Government of India to help me, please.
