I purchased a **Samsung Galaxy M** smartphone** from **ShopSmart Pvt. Ltd.** through their online platform on ****th September ****** for a total price of **₹**,*****. The product was delivered on ****th September ******. However, within two days of usage, the mobile phone started malfunctioning — the **battery overheated excessively** and the **touchscreen stopped responding properly**.

Despite repeated complaints sent through email and customer care, the company **refused to provide a replacement or refund**, citing their internal policy. This conduct amounts to **deficiency in service** and **unfair trade practice** under the **Consumer Protection Act, ******.

Due to this negligence, I have suffered **mental agony, inconvenience, and financial loss**, and I am now compelled to take legal action to seek appropriate redressal.
