Ford India - Complaint Regarding Ford New Figo Steering Column Issue and further suspension issues occurred due t

I, Anuj Sharma, the owner of Ford New Figo with registration number RJ**CC**** and VIN number MAJGXXMTKGHJ*****, want to file a complaint to address several unresolved issues with my vehicle. The car is registered under the name of Om Prakash, but as per the sell agreement dated June **, ****, I am the rightful owner and have been using the car continuously since ****. I have also been solely responsible for all maintenance and repair expenses incurred by the vehicle.

Last year, in ****, my car's steering was malfunctioned, prompting me to seek assistance from Crossland Ford Jaipur. Initially, they suggested replacing the steering column, which I found very highly priced so as an sexond opinion from another authorised ford servicecenter I contacted Ford India via email, who directed me to their second authorized service center, KS FORD Malviya Nagar Jaipur. Contrary to the previous diagnosis, KS FORD stated that the issue was with the car's battery, not the steering column, as it was an electrical problem. I paid Rs. **** for the battery replacement based on their recommendation. However, the problem resurfaced within three months, leading to three near accidents.

Upon further consultation with Ford India, KS FORD diagnosed the issue as a faulty steering column, necessitating its replacement at a cost of Rs. **,***, with Ford India promising to cover **% of the expenses. Additionally, during this process, KS FORD identified further damages to the suspension and rack, estimating a total cost of Rs. **,***. My contention is that despite regular servicing at authorized centers since ****, this issue went undetected until last year. Had Ford diagnosed the steering column issue correctly and in a timely manner, it could have prevented subsequent damages and accidents. The malfunctioning steering column also adversely affected the car's mileage, dropping from ** to * km/liter which occurred me high expenses on petrol.

I demand that Ford India rectify all issues with my car at no additional cost to me. Furthermore, considering the mental anguish and financial losses I have endured over the past year, I seek compensation in the amount of Rs. * lakhs. I trust that this matter will be addressed promptly to avoid further escalation.
