Mangaal Angom Meetei filed complaint against ICICI Bank Limited on Jul 27, 2024
I have a loan with loan account number LBIMP*********** with ICICI Bank . The approved loan amount was Rs. ** lakh, which was to be disbursed to me in parts. I requested the sanction of the remaining amount, which was approximately Rs. *,**,***. I received confirmation of a subsequent disbursement totaling Rs. *,**,***, broken down into two parts: Rs. **,*** and Rs. *,**,***. I received Rs. **,*** in my bank account on ** May ****. However, the remaining amount of Rs. *,**,***, for which I received a disbursement notification on **/**/****, was not credited to my account.
Despite not receiving the Rs. *,**,***, this amount is being considered as disbursed to me, and I am being charged EMIs that include this unreceived amount. I am incurring financial strain due to this discrepancy, as I am paying interest on a sum I have not actually received.
To resolve this issue, I kindly request the following actions from the bank:
*.Immediate Investigation and Rectification: Conduct a thorough investigation to trace the disbursement of Rs. *,**,*** and ensure it is credited to my account without further delay.
*.Adjustment of EMIs: Adjust my EMIs to reflect the actual amount disbursed to me until this issue is resolved.
*.Refund of Excess EMI Paid: Refund any excess EMI amount that I have paid due to this error.
This situation has caused me considerable inconvenience and financial stress. I want the bank to take prompt action to rectify this error and ensure that such discrepancies do not occur in the future.
I have also tried to file a complain on ICICI grievances portal but it does not provide any references that I can follow up and also contacted to the Relationship Manager (TH PRATIBHARANI DEVI,
Branch: ICICI Bank Ltd, Parompat,
ICICI Bank Ltd, Nongpok Ingkhol Palace Gate, New Checkon Road, Po Ps. Parompat, Imphal East, Manipur, Imphal, Manipur, ******) several times but of no use and she is not unable to solve this problem and failed to provide me any information regarding this issue.
