I purchased the PIONEER car infotainment system DMH-ZS****BT on **/**/**** for my Toyota Innova Crystra from TOYOTA VIVA MAGNA WHEELERS PVT LTD. The invoice for the purchase is attached with this email. Since the day I purchased the system I have had the following issues :
*. Very often the phone call audio does not route to the system. Even when it does the speech is not clear with phone calls.
*. Music playing on the deck -> Phone call -> Disconnect -> Music plays from mobile
*. Android auto is not responsive
*. Does not display song names when playing songs via USB. Keeps saying not database created.
*. Map goes away when we pick up a call
*. Call does not get picked up from steering control. I have to pick up the call from the mobile phone.
*. It's not an Android system but only android auto
*. No inbuilt offline maps
*. Touch screen does not work properly at all.
**. When system is off shilling noise comes from speakers
**. The Alexa assistant on the system does not work
**. Google voice assistant does not work.
I reported the above issues to Mr Anand who is the Toyota Innova Accessories in-charge at Viva Toyota. After persisting for many days and leaving my Innova Crysta in the service center for over * days, Mr. Anand arranged for replacement of the system on **th of March ****. Post the replacement of the system all the issues again persisted. This time around Viva Toyota provided me with the contact number of Mr. Ramesh from Pioneer service (mobile number : +** **********). On *nd April **** I contacted Mr Ramesh to address the issue and since then Mr. Ramesh has been making false promises to get the system reviewed by a service engineer.
A video or photograph of most of the above issues is attached as evidence with this email for your perusal. Getting a faulty system after paying a premium of Rs **,*** (Rupees eighty thousand) has caused me extreme stress and frustration. The service from Pioneer has been non-existing and this is my last effort to get the attention of Pioneer top management to a customer's plight. I demand a refund of the money I have paid for this system immediately. I will wait for a week before I ask my advocate to start taking legal courses in the consumer court and I will also ensure that my plight with Pioneer system is well published in car forums and other social media forums so that no other consumer will go through the same nightmare I have got through.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
