Vi Vodafone Idea - Complaint on high bill received for August 2024

I've been a Vi (Vodafone Idea) customer since the last **+ years. I have a family pack (* + * connections) and my regular bill amounts to *,***/- max.
Last month I had an international trip to Indonesia. I was traveling due to a personal emergency. I tried to control my travel within a budget thus when I was checking for vodaphone international packages, it gave me few options which were beyond my budget thus I opted for a day pack amounting to INR ***/- on *th August which was my travel date.
On reaching my destination country I brought a local sim card & used my dual sim available device.
I also had local wifi for the ** days that I was there.
On **th August ****, I was shocked to see my bill from vodafone of INR *,***/-. On enquiry I am told that, since the always on international facility was "ON", on my handset the usage continued beyond the requested "* day"
I also had a pre-set credit limit of INR *,***/- which was ignored / randomly increased for no reason known to me.
Now they are forcing me to make the payment or will disconnect all my * connections.
Is this day light cheating by Vi ???
I had purchased only * day pack but was cheated with exorbitant bill
+ inspite of keeping a limit on my credit of *,***/- the bill rose to *,***/-
Please help me to resolve this issue
