Kotak life insurance - Complaint of Insurance fraud done by Kotak Life Insurance

Dear Sir /Madam,

My name is Jeewan Nailwal, and I enrolled in the Kotak SmartLife Plan on March *, ****. Unfortunately, I have experienced significant issues regarding the information provided to me by two employees of Kotak Bank during the enrollment process.

I was misled into believing that my annual premium of ₹***,*** would yield a total payout of approximately ₹*,***,*** after the **-year
policy term (₹**,**,*** + ₹***,*** approx. in bonuses). However, upon contacting the Kotak Life Insurance customer care team, I was informed that the policy would get surrender value after ** years, resulting in a payout of only approximately ₹***,***. Furthermore, they indicated that still after ** years, I would receive about ₹**,**,*** only.

Also while enrollment they did not inform me that the policy term is for ** years or that the policy maturity age is ** years. They only
mentioned that after ** years, I could withdraw my fully principal amount plus bonuses if I continued to deposit ₹***,*** each year for the next ** years.

Given this discrepancy, I feel that I have been misled and defrauded by the Kotak employees. I would like to request the cancellation of my policy and a full refund of the premiums I have paid.
