South Dum Dum Municipality - Complaint against South Dum Dum Municipality

Dear Sir/ Madam, I, Mr. C.V. Radhakrishnan, a resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, since ****. With my hard earned income I brought a apartment, in the year **** which is not ** years old. Recently since about * years I am facing a problem through my neighbours. Their bathroom has a major leakage which has damped one of my bedroom. I tried requesting them to repair the same. I even offered them saying I would spend and get that repaired as my house is being spoiled. They are being adamant and told us that they would not repair it and challenged us to do anything and everything possible, however they will not repair. For the same reason I tried approaching the local councillor, who told me to first complaint it to the local party representative, which didn’t work. I then approached police, gave them a general complaint, one of the gorabazar police station visited them and asked them to repair the same, that approach also went in vain. I then approached south dum dum municipality a number of time, hoping that they would take the responsibility and do something for me. But they turned deaf ears. Now I am appealing it to you, hoping that I get a solution on the same. Due to this damp, one of the rooms in my apartment has become unusable. The walls have become damped, which at times get centipede. The floors are not seeping out water. And I underwent major health issue, got hospitalized and luckily I have my Mediclaim from my office, so it got reimbursed. But if this continues I am sure that my * storeyed flat will surely collapse someday and I will claim the full compensation amount from the government for all my losses as I have repeatedly raised complaints and informed all the major departments of concern with proof.
