I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against KFC VR Punjab Mall regarding an issue with my order and subsequent refund delay.
On August **, ****, I placed an order that included a couple of KFC stuffs and * piece of smokey grilled chicken at KFC VR Punjab Mall. However, the cashier mistakenly charged me for a whole bucket of smokey grilled chicken, and charged a total of Rs. ****/-. Upon realizing the error, I brought it to the cashier's attention, and she rectified the order. I was then asked to pay Rs. ***/- again for the correct order (* piece smokey grilled), and she assured me that the refund of Rs. ***/- for the bucket would be processed online and reflected in my credit card within a day or two.
It has now been * days, and I have yet to receive the refund. Despite daily follow-ups with the cashier, I am repeatedly told that the refund is in progress without any concrete resolution. This delay and lack of transparency are highly disappointing and unacceptable from a reputed brand like KFC.
I kindly request the Consumer Forum to intervene in this matter and ensure that I receive my refund of Rs. ***/- at the earliest. Additionally, I urge the forum to take necessary actions to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future, ensuring better customer service and accountability.
