I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against your company, Interior Company By Square Yards, for fraudulent behavior and misrepresentation of the materials provided to me for my home interior.
I recently engaged your company to purchase interior materials for my home, and I was promised top-quality materials at a reasonable price. However, upon receiving them, I found that the materials were not of the quality that I was promised. In addition, some of the items were missing from my order, and others were completely different from what was described to me by your staff.
On March **th, ****, I paid INR *,**,***.** for interior work on my kitchen.
There are several issues that urgently need to be addressed:
*. I was promised Hettich hinges with soft-closing, but instead, Ebco hinges were installed without my knowledge. Your senior interior designer, also confirmed this. Despite having paid for Hettich hinges, when I asked for them to be replaced, I was refused and told that the change could not be made. Additionally, the quotation did not specify which brand of hinges and channels would be used.
*. I requested a slight change in the design, which they confirmed. However, the old design was sent to production without my knowledge, and it was installed as it was previously.
*. Unapproved brand materials were installed without my consent. The telescopic channels made by Ebco and cargotech baskets made by Hettich were installed, while Saurabh promised that Hettich cargotech baskets with channels would be used.
*. The head cabinets above the sink were installed with MR plywood instead of the promised BWP plywood.
*. I was approved for *** sqft of floor protection, but only half of the approved amount was used. Given that the carpenters are using heavy appliances and tools on the tiles, I am concerned about the potential for damage and the lack of accountability if any tiles are cracked.
*. In recent weeks, I have observed a lack of communication among your teams, and this has resulted in a decline in the quality of work. As a result, I have lost confidence in your team's ability to complete the project to my satisfaction, and I am requesting a full refund for the granite installation services that I paid INR **,*** for. they confirms that he will request a refund of the total amount.
On April *th, ****, I visited your company to seek clarification, and after the discussion, they promised to address their mistakes as soon as possible and escalate the issue with the hinges.
However, it has been two weeks since then, and I have not received any updates. Moreover, your team denies all the above concerns. I have BOQs, WhatsApp chats, and call recordings as proof of my purchase.
I am writing to request your intervention and help me obtain justice as soon as possible. I have attached evidence of my purchase, including receipts and photographs, which will help in establishing the validity of my complaint.
