Genial Holiday Club Pvt Ltd - Complaint against Genial Holiday Club

I Pritpal Kaur, W/o Shri Gurpreet Singh would like to draw the attention of the Hon’ble Court to the fraud committed to me by the Genial Holiday Club, Chandigarh. In this regard, the chronological events are as below:
*. I received a phone call from the representative of the aforesaid company on *rd march, ****, informing that my phone number has been randomly selected for a prize. They asked me to attend a seminar at sobti plaza hotel, ambala on *th march **** to know about the further details.
*. Accordingly, I along with my husband attended the seminar and paid Rs ***** vide receipt no GHC** dated **/**/**** towards the membership of the aforesaid company.
*. It was promised, through the membership, to provide a three weeks stay (** days and ** nights) at * star or * star hotels, spread across a span of * years i.e. a week per year without any further charge. Meanwhile I made a plan to visit Kerala along with my family and tried to avail the facility provided to me. There I was given a stay in * star hotels against the promise of * or * star ( including breakfast)and that too for * days only. I made a number of calls to the representatives but all futile. They informed me that the policy has been given to me by mistake and my membership only has a stay of ** days and ** nights which can be availed only after providing Annual Maintenance Charge of Rs **** per year and Breakfast Charges Rs **** per year.
*. Thereafter, I tried to contact the person I met at the seminar, Mr Himanshu, the then representative of the company who detailed me about the plan. He informed me that he has left the company and now I should contact the customer care or Shri Sukhdeep, Director of the company and not him for any query. Sukhdeep Singh did not pick my call and customer care is not ready to listen to me. They are just saying that the policy was given to me by mistake and I will be given a stay of only ** days and that too after payment of AMC and Breakfast .
*. When I pressurized the executives to provide me refund and cancel my policy they showed me some fake documents having my sign and stating that my membership is of ** days stay only.
*. In this regard, I have attached the copies of all the documents and communications held between us through e-mail.
*. It is requested to direct the company to provide me the refund of Rs *****/- and cancel the policy and it may also be punished appropriately so that it wont make such frauds again with any innocent.
*.It is requested to take necessary action in the matter .
