I wish to lodge this complaint against BookLeaf Publishing for indulging in misleading promises, unfair trade practices, and deficiency of service.

On **th July ****, I enrolled in their Online Poetry Writing ** Days Challenge advertised on their Facebook page by paying ₹*,***/-. I was given access to their dashboard.

On **st July ****, I purchased their Priority Publishing Package (“Bestseller Breakthrough”) by paying ₹**,***/-, as their banner advertisement promised a **% discount if purchased during the challenge and priority publishing within ** days.

After completing the challenge on *th August **** (extended by * days via their email dated **/**/****), I attempted to submit my book.

The portal first showed technical errors.

Later, when the page became accessible, it prompted me to pay ₹**,***/- again, instead of recognizing my pre-paid package.

Despite raising multiple tickets and sending repeated emails with proof (screenshots + receipts), I received only automated responses. No one from BookLeaf contacted me directly to resolve the matter.

Their Srinagar office phone number is non-functional, making it impossible to contact them except through automated emails.

On searching online, I discovered that numerous other authors have faced similar issues with BookLeaf Publications, which indicates a pattern of unfair and misleading trade practices.

Finally, as I grew completely vexed and disheartened by their irresponsible and unprofessional conduct, I had no option but to delete my poetry book from their dashboard, thereby losing my creative work.

I now seek a refund of ₹**,***/- (₹*,*** + ₹**,***) paid to BookLeaf Publications.

Compensation of ₹**,***/- for mental harassment, deficiency of service, loss of creative work, and misleading promises.
