Adidas India Marketing Private Limited - Complaint Against Adidas for Poor Quality Product and Lack of Customer Service

On **th July ****, I purchased an Adidas Essentials Single Jersey Embroidered Small Logo Tee (Size M, Colour Semi Lucid Blue, Product code IC****) for delivery to Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The product was delivered on **th July ****. However, upon receiving the item, I was dismayed to find that the t-shirt appeared to be used and of extremely poor quality—far below the standards I have come to expect from a brand like Adidas.
The item was intended as part of a gift basket for my anniversary with my boyfriend. Since receiving the defective product, I have been in constant communication with Adidas customer service, only to be met with repeated empty promises of "Wait for ** hours." Despite daily messages assuring me that the product would be picked up that day, no action has been taken. I have had to rearrange my plans multiple times to be available for the supposed pick-up, but Adidas has failed to follow through. This has not only caused significant mental stress but also financial loss.
Due to the delay and lack of resolution, I had no choice but to purchase a replacement product at a higher rate and without any discount, just to ensure that I could still give my boyfriend a proper anniversary gift. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and has negatively impacted what should have been a special occasion.
