On **th feb **** My father had a complicated bariatric surgery and * hernia surgery at the same time.
His position was critical and had been taken to the OT twice on **th feb ****.(due to internal bleeding). He was on ventilator for that night. On **th he had been shifted to the executive room. He was on a liquid diet. On **st morning he was allowed to drink buttermilk. We ordered the same from hospital canteen. When my father finish the glass a cockroach was found in that glass. There was no sense of regret from the management of SDMH. Staffs were not taking it seriously. A patient coming from ICU that too on a ventilator was given such a drink.Being a vegetarian he is in trauma I strongly condemn this act of negligence and want strict against the authorities
