MG MOTORS - Clutch plate issue with MG HECTOR DIESEL

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue I have encountered with the recently purchased MG HECTOR CAR NO RJ ** CV **** from GPS automobiles located at Jaipur, and I believe that I have been subjected to dishonest and unethical practices during the transaction that given me defective car which have left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

Recently I got a check engine light and I gave my car for service. The service dealer has told me that the clutch set, clutch bearing and flywheel is damaged. Following points will define that how I have been given defective car :

*) Firstly during the sale process, I was given assurances that the problem of burning of faulty clutch set which was the main problem all over the internet of hector diesel from the date of launch of the vehicle had been rectified by the company which had not been met upon use. The discrepancy between the commitment and reality has left me feeling mislead and disheartened.

*) From day one, I complained about the clutch hardness to the dealer, but I had been told it would get softer upon use.

*) At first and second service, I again complained to the service dealer for clutch hardness but was told that the clutch has been overhauled.

*) At ***** kms, the clutch pedal got free and oil was leaking from the clutch pedal to which the car towed to the service dealer in which the car was repaired by the service dealer.

*) After some days of repair, the car pedal started making problems coming back half way when pressed which was informed to the service dealer on phone and was told that they will check when the car will come for service.

*) At approx ***** kms , There was bad smell about clutch burning which was informed to service dealer to which the car went to service station and service dealer told me that the clutch has been overhauled

*) At ***** kms, I got a check engine light and I gave my car for service. The service dealer has told me that the clutch set, clutch bearing and flywheel is damaged. This leads to belief that in earlier overhauling clutch exercises the service dealer has not checked clutch functioning properly.

We have **-** cars in our house and have driven around **-** cars in the past ** years. There is not a single instance of clutch set erosion at ***** kms. Usually the clutch set erodes around *-*.* lac kms. We are driving a Jeep Compass with dual clutch but the same doesn't have any sort of clutch problem.

Further I investigated the clutch problem on the internet and with friends. Through the conversation I came to know that every hector diesel has the same problem and the company has not rectified this old technical perceived defect till today. The accumulation of these issues has led me to believe that I have been sold a defective car by the dealer by committing wrong information. This has shaken my confidence in both the dealer's integrity and the overall quality of MG vehicles and believe me I won’t recommend MG motors cars to anyone.
I further investigated automobile dealers and technicians. In their view, the clutch plate set and its cylinder is of poor performance as compared to car power, weight and performance. The company is using a light clutch plate and cylinder in this SUV which are used in sedan and compact cars. I don't know the technical part which might lead to erosion of the clutch plate set in diesel cars of MG.

On reaching out with Mr. Ajay ********** (GM MG Service Centre Jaipur), The problem has been discussed in brief, but there is no amicable solution form his side. They are asking to pay for the components as it is not covered under warranty as they can't help with any company's manufacturing defects or technical glitch in the car which is not covered under warranty period. If the component has worn out in a comfortable time frame like ****** kms, I would have paid for the component but to my dismay the part has worn out in just ***** kms due to faulty technical manufacturing glitch.
If there is no permanent solution to this matter, I will have to take legal action in consumer court against the company for unethical practices of misleading customers, selling defective technology and to claim full refund of my car.
