Hi Team,

My father - Krishan Lal, customer id,was hospitalized on **th June in Alchemist hospital , Panchkula. We initiated the claim process with star health on **th June itself and provided the required supporting documents (Ultrasound report, blood reports and a hand written letter).
Ultrasound report as well as the hand written letter clearly stated that he has been diagnosed with Chronic Liver disease or Liver Cirrhosis and he has never been hospitalized before. So it was always clear that the diagnosis is Liver disease. On **th June, we got an approval letter from the company validating and authorizing our cashless claim.

However, today--on **th June(* days later after the approval) , we suddenly get a rejection letter from the company mentioning that the liver disease has a waiting period of two years.
This has put us in an extremely difficult situation because my father is getting discharged today and we were relying on the insurer to help us in settling the bill.

PLEASE NOTE: We were extremely transparent since the start, we never hid anything, all the required documents were furnished and since the beginning it was clear that the diagnosis is LIVER CIRRHOSIS.

Please look into this matter urgently and help in getting our claim sorted
