Indigo Airlines 6E 377 - Checkin baggage handle damaged cannot push or pull the handle inside

I flewed to the flight *E **** Chennai to Delhi on Feb *, ****. I checked in my luggage fine but when I collected my bag from the carosel I found that I cannot push my suitcase handle inside. Seems like it was mishandled during the trip. I reported the incident at the helpdesk but they told me that they will file the complaint and didnot give me any reference number for the PIR, when I insisted they said they will get it fixed at your doorstep within a few days and told me to trust. I was skeptical so asked how can we document this complaint and they say to send email to customer.relations@goindigo.in. I wrote to them same day and never heard from them for a couple of months. I emailed again in Apr and they gave me a new reference number with an email to send attachments of bag damaged and PNR which I sent but no reply, I called the customer care multiple times and they keep on asking to send the email with pictures repeatedly and every time I sent it they don't receive it. Customer care executive promise to get it resolved in ** hours but it never happens. After many follow up now they emailed saying its a minor wear and tear and cannot compensate. I didn't pay Indigo baggage fee to make my bag with damaged handle. I want the justice and compensation in this regard.
