UPGRAD - Cheating in the name of higher education visa in abroad

Sometime back I planned to study a MS Accounting course(STEM Certified) in the USA.

While searching consultancies, I found Upgrad, when I contacted someone called Mr. Muneesh called me and explained about the process, universities and tuition fee.

During the telephone conversation with him, I told him very clearly that I'm in ** years, my bachelors & masters percentage was very low i.e. **%, i do not have native english skills to get higher band in english tests and I have to take a higher education loan to fund my MS Accounting program.

Then he said, Upgrade is tied up with many universities and based on business relations with many universities, he can definitely get an admission in any university.

And he said Rs. **,***/- is a fee for the Booster program and after paying this fee, Upgrade will provide English tests coaching, help in documentation until i get admission and visa.

He also introduced Mr. Vaibhav to help in making a payment of fee and both were called and messaged, continuously for more then a week without giving me a time to think about it.

Finally, based on his information, I believe and made payment of Rs. **,*** on *rd March **** to Upgrade.

After making payment Mr. Vaibhav allocated some other counselor and arranged a virtual call after * days and informed me to explain about my profile to new councillor, when i explained about my profile and desired program to the new councillor in virtual call he said that it is difficult to get admission in my desired program, he also said that it is not possible to approve a Visa based on my details.

Then I was thinking about it while attending English virtual classes for ** days, also checked with other consultancies, i learned that it is very difficult to get admission in any university for my desired program and also difficult to get a Visa.

Finally, I requested Mr. Vaibhav to provide Mr. Munish contact number or asked me to connect him, from there both were not able to respond to me and never called me back, despite my many messages and calls.

I understood their false information and got to know about their cheating, and asked the admission team to refund my fee by cancelling the booster program.

They said that once Upgrade collects the fee, it won't be refunded.

I request you to understand this issue and refund my fee as collecting fee by giving false information and cheating is not the way of doing business.
