Hi, I chose housejoy for my the plumbing work in my house. We are new to Bangalore and we don't know Kannada, so we decided to go with a professional service provider so that we won't be over charged or facing issues with language. The actual work was to replace a mixer tap with two individual taps and to replace another health faucet. The plumber brought the taps from his own shop and the total bill he gave us was ****. We paid **** to wound off ( Rs.*** labour charges). After a day, when we happened to check with our new neighbor, we realized we were cheated by charging twice and thrice the usual price of the spares. He didn't give us bill also. We took this issue to Housejoy saying we were overcharged by around *** to *** Rupees, they didn't care to listen. They say "we don't deal with material or spares". I asked them to help me get the bill at least from the plumber. Till now no response. My order ID is *********. The service was done on *rd of this month. It will be great if you can help me get my money back. He charged me Rs. *** for a normal plastic tap that is actually Rs.***. Charged Rs. *** for a plastic health faucet which is actually Rs.***. And for a metal tap he charged us Rs. *** which is actually Rs. ***. I checked the prices in a hardware shop nearby with a help of my neighbor.
