* paid Rs.***** thrice as School fee in Dec'** via Qfix/Eduqfix application powered by HDFC Bank. On selection of the payment modes like Netbanking, Debit Card as well as Credit Card, service fee, convenience fee, etc. all were shown as ZERO.
Since there were no charges (which looked like it was an offer for the parents), I paid the school fee via credit card and paid exactly the same amount as shown on the portal. Both payment receipts clearly show the same.
But later when I received my credit card bill I noticed that I was charged Rs.***** (as against Rs.*****, Rs.*** EXTRA) for each transaction
This is totally UNETHICAL and UNACCEPTABLE! If there was supposed to be any extra charge (whatsoever, under any head/title), it should have been mentioned on selection of the credit card payment mode, so that the parent could choose whether s/he is ready to pay such extra charge or not. (e.g. while paying through Paytm, it shows the extra amount very clearly in red ink)
But the way Qfix/Eduqfix application have implemented it is totally UNETHICAL and UNACCEPTABLE! This is a malpractice of the Qfix Infocomm Private Limited with the customers.
