I had ordered medicine from swiggy instamart and charged above the mrp for a single strip of disprin medicine. Actual Mrp=**.*, Amount charged from me=*** (excluding delivery charges).
Asked for Audit committee number for seeking redressal no number provided and tried to run from the situation. Refund received for the difference but practise is still ongoing. "Selling packaged items at more than the maximum retail price (MRP) would attract Rs *,*** to Rs **,*** fine for the first offence and up to Rs * lakh for a repeat offence, the consumer affairs ministry has proposed while seeking to replace jail terms with stiff monetary penalties." Need adequate compenation for the mental harassment coupled with torture and opportunity loss that i had to face.
