I had ordered two cakes from My flower Tree on **th September to be delivered on the **th of September for my daughter's birthday. The order number for both the cakes is ******. The cakes were delivered at ** PM in the night, after all the birthday celebrations were over. Upon receiving the cakes and tasting it, it looked and tasted so tacky and cheap. The blueberry cheesecake was way too sugary and filled with icing rather than cream cheese and the cake came apart immediately as soon as we cut a piece. The chocolate cake was also filled with icing more than actual cake. The cakes tasted very cheap and disappointing, to say the least and my daughter had no cakes for her birthday by the end of it. We then called the number of the bakery from where the cake was delivered (Live cakes), and upon calling them and telling them the order ID, they mentioned that they had received the order for the cakes from My flower tree for around Rs *** for the chocolate cake and Rs *** for the cheesecake, and that they can only prepare the cakes according to the price point they received from My Flower Tree. I was surprised because I had paid around Rs *** for the blueberry cheesecake and around Rs *** for the chocolate cake. Needless to say, I received the cakes for a lower quality than I had paid for because My flower Tree gave the bakery an order at a cheaper price and kept the remaining profit for yourselves. I just think it's unfair that the customer received a lower priced cake than what they actually paid for just so you can run your own business profitably. Post the order I had immediately filed a complaint on the website and so far till now have not received any response. I know you cannot deduce the quality or taste from the pictures I will attach of the cakes below, but as someone who has consumed cakes that taste far better than this, especially for higher prices such as this, it would not be against my better judgement to say that these cakes were absolutely disgusting and ruined my daughter's birthday. I would definitely like a refund of the enormous money I paid for these low quality cakes, or at least send a replacement with better quality cakes from a good bakery.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
