John Volvo - Bus cancelled at midnight without prior information

I booked a ticket from Sibsagar to Guwahati at John Volvo bus service operator on **rd April **** and the timing of arrival was **.**pm at Sibsagar ASTC Bus Stand. I was given the following text message "Dear Passenger, Your Bus details from Sibsagar to Guwahati on **/**/**** are PNR: ******, Bus No: AR-**-B-****, Driver details: Ramen Driver,********** - BITLA SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED". I first call the given number at around *.**pm that day and I interacted with the bus operator about the timing of arrival at Sibsagar and as per the operator instructions I reached the boarding place at around **pm and I began to contact the bus driver. From that moment the bus operator number showing busy all the time and at some point when the call rang, no response was given. After sometime I met a Co passenger who was supposed to travel at the same bus and then we both began to call the bus operator continuously and at around **.** am the bus operator received the call that was made from my Co passenger and he said that the bus will not come as it was captured my the police at dibrugarh due to some issue. We immediately got angry as no prior intimation was made by them to us about the cancellation and it was around **.**am and I was left with no other alternative to travel but to stay there and travel the next day. Now due to John Travel bus operator negligence, all my plans for the next day got cancelled and moreover I was not able to attend an important meeting that was held next day and i was left with losses all around and severe mental harassment. I immediately booked a ticket for the next morning loosing a complete day at Guwahati and had to take leave from office without any specific reason but due to John Travels negligence.
