Gostops Booking com - Booking got cancelled

I was planning to go to manali in december so i booked a room from booking.com on go stops in october and there was free cancellation so i gave my credit card and they accepted it and booking was done from **dec to * jan, but few days ago i got a mail stating the card is not working and update the details and i updated them and they sent ** rupees in my account to check whether card is active or not and i have been using this card throughout the month and i saw the success message afterwards but after * days my booking got cancelled and on asking they are saying that card is not accepted on our platform despite of the fact they accepted it earlier and transacted ** rupees in it
I have booked it for *k and now it is more than **k
