I placed an order on Blinkit on December ** and canceled it within two minutes. Initially, they issued a promo code for the amount, but this was not acceptable since it was not a promotion—I had paid real money. I requested either wallet credits or a refund to the original payment source. I was assured that the amount would be refunded to the source and that the promo code would be canceled within *–* hours.
Since then, I have contacted Blinkit almost every single day. Each time, I’m told that the issue has been “highlighted” and to wait ** hours, but there has been no update or resolution. Every agent gives the exact same scripted response.
What’s frustrating is that Blinkit is actively publishing year-end reviews and statistics—how many kilos of ghee were sold, ordering habits, who ordered how many bags, and so on—yet they fail to address basic customer refunds. It makes one wonder how much revenue is retained simply by delaying or not issuing refunds.
To make matters worse, there is no customer service phone number. Agents repeatedly ask if they can call me, but those calls leave no written record of what is promised. I therefore chose to continue via chat, only to receive the same generic response every time.
Today is January *, and I am still being told to “wait ** hours,” with no refund and no concrete update.
