Generico Khanda colony - Billing fraud rudeness at Generico Khanda colony

*. I had asked for * bottle of Alkasyp and * strips of Cheston Cold tablets and after checking the packet at home, they were correct but I was shocked to see the bill had * units of Alkasyp billed and * strips of Cheston Cold but * strip additionally billed. The attendant had asked me whether I wished to pay by credit card or cash and got my credit card swiped for the amount and gave me the stapled bag without showing me the items I asked for before he packed them. Since there were about a dozen items and not one or two, he should have shown me each of the other items as he was putting them in the bag before stapling it. The counter is lower and hidden from view and customers cannot see what the attendant is putting or not putting. I strongly suspect that overbilling was deliberately done by him as retaliation for the previous event.
*. Before paying a visit to the shop, I had phoned and confirmed if the following items were available viz. Vit C + Zinc, Providone Iodine gargle etc. since on previous * occasions Vit C was unavailable. The lady who answered said Vit C + Zinc was available. On reaching the shop the lady who answered the phone was not available and the attendant asked me when I had called, since he claimed there was no Vit C + Zinc and also claimed they did not keep combinations of Vit C. I told him that I had phoned approximately an hour or half hour ago before leaving from home. Then he said he would see about the Vit C later and tell me the rest of the items in my list. He did not have Evion ***, masks, Ston* b* in addition to the Vit C. I asked him when I could get the missing items and he replied he could not say.
*. I found the other attendant giving * strips of Vit C to a customer who had come later, so I asked him twice, if the carton pack kept close was Vit C and he did not reply both times. Then I raised my voice assuming that he could not hear me and asked the third time if the carton was of Vit C. When I found it was Vit C I asked for * strips, and he claimed only one remained. I asked him if Vit C was available why did they not offer that option without Zinc. At that point the attendant who was servicing me returned after getting a medication and rudely accused me of shouting & demanded why I was doing it a couple of times.
*. At that point I was strongly tempted to walk out, but held my peace, which I have deeply regretted for not acting on my impulse esp. after discovering the billing fraud. I have strong suspicions that it was a payback since he prepared the dozen items bag fully stapled and pushed the bag through the small opening hole in the glass without showing the individual items, so I would not notice the scam. Actually, I trust Generico, so I did not feel the need to demand that he open the bag and show me the items as per the bill.
*. I have shopped at many of the Generico shops of Vashi, Sanpada and New Panvel using XXXXXX****. And my trust in Generico has not gone but continues to remain strong. Generico is the best thing that has happened to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. But I do have the option of never going back to Generico Khanda Colony as long as I live, even though it is closest to my residence at Taloja. I have recollected that, when I communicated to the * attendants about the lady who answered my call and informed me of the availability of Vit C + zinc, Attendant no. * had shot back at me rudely "Usne bhola, usko pucho". Now thinking back, it occurred to me that they could have very easily phoned her mobile and clarified the truth, if they really cared about serving customers, particularly since I was the only customer to attend to for the first few minutes.
