Hathway has been overcharged for an offer which I recharged my account on **-Nov-** with the guidelines from executives. I recharged Rs. *** through Paytm for a special offer. But the bill generated for Rs ***.
When I call to customer care to check this bill mismatch, executives were impolite and they cut the call * times when I asked them to connect seniors.To check bill they were asking OTP sent to my number. As per TRAI rules, companies should not ask OTP to customers. When I mention this, a manager Ms. Nancy apologized.She told that she will arrange call back from backend team. She arranged call back from backend team member named Shridhar. He was so rude, he was not ready to answer to my questions.
My question was simple - "why there is a mismatch in actual payment and the charges mentioned in the bill?".
Then Nancy told me that she will update a bill and send me a new bill. The earlier was wrong.
One more info I got to know that, the amount which they overcharge will be customer's account but customer can't see that and I didn't get an option during payment that to utilize the amount the hathway profile. I got to know totally Rs.*** in my hathway account.
This is not acceptable. Please consider this seriously and provide me resolution.
