I own an Apple Watch * series ** mm watch. I purchased it on **/**/**** from Imagine store in Delhi which sells apple products only. On ** th July ****, my watch suddenly stop displaying. It works fine except display it’s like blank. So I contacted apple service and told them what exactly happened. They asked me to try restarting it and all. But that doesn’t solved the problem. So they asked me to take my watch to the nearest service Center. When I checked on Internet this same issue was happening to this series watches. And even in apple website as well they are telling that these watches are made between April and September of **** that too Apple Watch * series ** mm watches. So for those watches they provide a free service. So I have went to the service Center and they checked for my eligibility and denied service because my watch was made on ****. So they said my watch Can’t be serviced. I called them again ( apple support ) and they are saying that I have to replace the watch by paying same amount as my warranty expired. But they are providing free service for those watches which are manufactured between April and September **** with same issue even if there warranty are expired. It’s saying that they can avail this service within * years of time after first retail purchase of the same. So they know there is a problem with their watches and for their fault I’m the one who suffers now. They are claiming that this problem only occurs with watches manufactured between April and September of ****. But that’s not correct. It’s occurred on my watch as well. My watch it’s in a good shape. No physical damage and in this case this malfunction happened not because of my usage or anything. It’s clearly a technical fault from their side for which they have a solution and that’s been denied to me. For the very same problem they provide service for some and for others like me they deny it. I have also paid the asked amount while purchasing this Watch. So I’m also eligible and to be treated equally. I want to file a case about their quality and service denial. I have talked with the technical team and they are telling only sorry which are worthless to me . Even though they have a programme only for this problem, they are not providing me that service which I deserve even if I told them that I will pay for it.
