One plus 7 pro - Bad customer service

My mobile screen had a screen burn issue for which the company had agreed to replace the display for free as it is under warranty but it could not be done from the past * months due to lockdown. a fortnight ago when I spoke to the customer helping they said that they have a pickup and drop facility under which the mobile was picked up from my currently staying residence in Udupi and delivered to Bangalore service centre. But after receiving the handset they called and informed me that the mobile screen had a crack on the bottom corner and also shared an image on what's app due to which I have to pay Rs. ***** for replacement f screen which primarily was faulty and had to be replaced by them for free. I mailed them saying that it has not happened at my end and also requested them to replace the screen for free as it was faulty primarily and had to be replaced for free by them as promised as the images shared to them * months back of the defect had no breakage. They are not ready to listen and adamant on me paying for the same.I was in touch with Ms. Dimple Jain at the service centre as One Plus complaint website executives did not respond to my emails. After lot of efforts I received a call today from the One Plus escalation team and he also is not ready to listen to my problem and blaming me for the breakage.
This breakage was surely not from my end and it has happened at the service centre while handling the device and they are now putting on me to get the charges for the screen replacement. Also One Plus backend team is supporting their service centre on the same.
I am now planning to pay the charges and repair as I desperately need the handset, but I would like the company to refund me the repair charges as well as whatever I spend on the case.
