AXIS BANK CREDIT CARDS - Axis Credit Card Renewal Fee Dispute

Hi,
I have been using the Axis bank magnus credit card for a while and i decided to cancel the card before the renewal. I have raised a request to cancel the card before the renewal date and during the same month there was a transaction of Rs * which is not an actual spent but the normal credit card validation transaction.

When i contacted the customer care team on this issue, the support agent initially confirmed that since its a card validation transaction of Rs * they will wave of the renewal fee and cancel the card. The request that i raised was open for more than * month which crossed by bill due date and later the support team insisted me that they will not wave of the renewal fee and i need to pay the same before the cancellation. If i don't pay the bill before due date, then interest will be charged on that.

I was in a situation where there was no time left for me and i was forced to pay the renewal fee for an outstanding transaction amount of Rs *. Now the card is cancelled however the renewal fee was forced to pay for a card validation transaction of Rs * which is not at all acceptable.

Now i am not able to follow up the customer support team as my card is already cancelled.

I need the refund of the renewal fee i paid for a transaction of just Rs *.
