Art Avenue - Art Avenue Jaipur Delivered a Defective Product After 6Month Delay Refused Refund and Threatened Leg

I’m filing this complaint against Art Avenue, a Jaipur-based furniture company that claims to create “luxury, export-quality” custom furniture.
In September ****, I placed a custom order for a shoe rack and paid ₹**,*** in good faith. What followed was a six-month ordeal marked by:
- Repeated delays with no clear communication
- Poor quality materials (crumbling plywood, faulty mechanisms)
- A design flaw that made the rack unusable for regular-sized shoes
- Delivery of a product that arrived damaged and non-functional
- Video and photo documentation proving all the above
And finally, when I requested a refund, I received legal threats and intimidation
Despite multiple written requests and a trail of documented conversations, the company refuses to acknowledge the issue, instead blaming the customer and threatening legal consequences for raising concerns.
As a foreign national living in India, I have made every attempt to resolve this professionally and respectfully. I am now left with financial loss and emotional stress.
I am seeking a full refund of ₹**,*** and a formal apology for the harassment I have experienced throughout this process.
