I had submitted an application for address change in my APY ( Atal Pension Yojana account) to ICICI Bank, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur branch on *-Dec-****. Instead of address change, ICICI bank closed my APY account which was operational since January-**** with a monthly premium of Rs. ***. The maturity date was December ****.
I had asked ICICI bank to reactivate my account of APY via NSDL. But, they said they cant do it and issues a mere apology letter to me.
Now, If I want to open the same APY account, the monthly premium comes to Rs. *** based on my current age which is more by Rs. *** from my ongoing premium.
So, I request the honorable Consumer commission to take action against ICICI Bank and also issue me the difference of the premium charges payable till December - ****. The calculation comes to Rs. ***** (*** per month for *** months which is ** years from now).
