Hdfc and ICICI banks - Amount not being refunded

I have done a NEFT transaction of ₹*,**,*** to ICICI RAPG acount(this account is owned by ICICI only) by mistake. I sent this from my HDFC account on **th of July. I contacted the ICICI bank directly first, they said that I need to approach the bank from which the transaction has been initiated(HDFC in my case). HDFC took * whole weeks just to understand my concern and create a request for ICICI bank. So on *th of August, HDFC claimed that they have checked with the beneficiary bank(ICICI in this case) and they are just awaiting closure of formalities.. In my case, the beneficiary is not an individual, but a company which is ICICI.So I thought that the money will be resended within few days. But its been more than ** days, but the money is not yet credited back. When I aks the HDFC to follow up on the request, they take one week to give a generic reply "check with the beneficiary bank directly". When I contact the ICICI bank, they dont even reply to my mails becuase I dont have account in their bank. Even if they reply, they say to check with the HDFC bank. Both banks are just throwing off to each other and my money is stuck. This whole request thing is a black box to me, I have many doubts-
"Did HDFC really raise a concern on *th ? If so why cant they just follow up on the same request? What is making it so hard for them?"
"If ICICI bank was approached on *th itself, why arent they returning the money? Arent they interested in sending back my money?" etc.

I have sent millions of emails and visited both the banks multiple times but they just dont respect my time. They just dont care about my concern. They will raise one serice request, take one week, send a generic reply or some useless info which I already mentioned in the compliant. And they close the service request without even my acknowledgement. They just close it. This is a small issue which can be resolved within a week, but its been more than a month and still they are not interested in resolving the issue.

Both the banks know that it was an intended transaction and the money belongs to me. Yet they just dont care to solve the problem as soon as possible. HDFC customer care servive is very slow and they never try to understand the concern first before raising a request. And ICICI bank doesnt even care to reply to my emails as I dont have account in their bank. This is really wrong and I should get my moneh back and they should apologize for this behavior.
