Grievance Details from first day of happening: My Amazon Pay Balance of ₹*,***, which became inaccessible after I closed my Amazon account. Unfortunately, I was not explicitly informed that my Amazon Pay Balance would be permanently stuck upon account closure. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue through calls and emails, I have yet to receive a clear resolution. Summary of My Communications with Amazon Support: *. Initial Contact : I emailed Amazon regarding the issue but received no satisfactory response. I also contacted Amazon Customer Care multiple times without success. *. Escalation to Higher Authorities: I sent an email to Amazon's grievance team but still received no resolution. Eventually, I escalated the issue by emailing Jeff Bezos’ address(jeff@amazon.com), after which I received a response stating that my case was being considered as an "exceptional case." *. Response from Amazon (*-day wait period): The response mentioned that there was no guarantee of a refund, but the team requested seven days to review my case. *. Follow-up (After * days): On the *th day, I replied to follow up, and soon after, I received a call from an Amazon Customer Care executive. She explained that my case was an exception and that the team was trying to proceed further but could not guarantee a resolution. *. First Call with Excutive: She asked if I had created a new Amazon account. I informed her that I did not create a new account because I was concerned that using the same credentials as my closed account might cause data overlap. She acknowledged my concern and mentioned that if reopening the account was not an option, we would need to explore alternative solutions. *. Verification Attempts: I provided her with details of my last transaction, which involved redeeming a gift card. I even shared the gift card number to help verify my identity. However, she mentioned that my closed account could not be located in their system. I assured her that I was the rightful owner and was willing to provide any additional details to verify my account. *. Suggested Solutions from My End: I proposed two options: Reopen my closed account, so I could access my Amazon Pay Balance. Transfer the balance (via gift card, direct refund, or any other method) to a new Amazon account, which I was willing to create using the same credentials. *. Second Call with Executive: She later informed me that they found another Amazon account linked to my closed account’s registered email, which confused me because I had only ever used that email for one Amazon account. I requested further verification, asking them to check their records carefully. *. Final Call and Sudden Denial: x initially stated that additional verification was required. I requested ** minutes to finish an office meeting before continuing the conversation. After ** minutes, she called back and unexpectedly stated that restoring my account or refunding the balance was not possible. She also sent a written email confirming that no solution was available. **. Later on, i again sent an email to re-construct the conversation, but in return i got an email from their ACCOUNT SPECIALIST stating that the email address (which i was using to communicate ) is not linked with amazon account that i'm inquiring for . **. I provided transactional proofs, notifications , receipts that i got for that email address. Still they are not satisfied. Issues mentioned and solutions expected: -> They did not mentioned that my amazon account balance will be blocked ->my **** rupees blocked -> Provided all the required details, to prove my identity -> I demand a direct refund to my bank account and i'm ready to provide any further details up-to my extent from my side

UPDATE: Lodged a complaint in consumer forum online. but they responded stating that i violated amazon terms and conditions and they still asking me to communicate with Account specialist even though i tried multiple times but in vain.im talking about their inhouse payment method but not any other third party product being sold in their marketplace.so i kindly request concerned department to look into issue and refund my money.
