I would like to share my grievance pertaining to Airtel company. I approached Airtel for broadband fiber connection which included DTH and mobile postpaid connection (**** plan). The agents came and collected my documents on **th March. He promised will give broadband fiber connection within ** hours. They also took OTP for mobile porting from Jio to airtel. They explicitly told me that there are no other charges except for the Rs ****. but the very next day DTH guy came and demanded that I pay up Rs *** for the DTH connection which was not informed in advance. The very same day I received a call from broadband guys that since there is no broadband connection in my area they would not be able to provide a connection. After such a fiasco I was disappointed, I immediately sent a mail to these people to cancel for my mobile portability. meanwhile, the broadband people called me again and they will arrange the fiber connection for my area. As a reassurance, I asked them to provide me the email for the same but they denied saying it is not their policy to give a written commitment. The next day I got a call from Airtel saying the fiber connection was not possible for my area. By this time I was frustrated with them and asked them to cancel my whole plan. But it seems they didn't do, even that and I received a bill for Rs *** for Airtel postpaid. So here's my question to Airtel? *)When a plan is purchased how come the salesperson was not aware that broadband was not feasible in my area?
*) Once the commitment had been made and my OTP and other documents were collected, why the service did not provide fully.
*)How did you port my number despite my email and why I am receiving the bill for Rs ***.
I would be delighted if Airtel would care to respond to these queries.
