Hi In Concepts Private Limited - Advance Cash not returned upon requesting

We approached Hi In Concepts for the interior design solution for our new flat in Hyderabad. After discussion, and site visit, we decided to proceed for the *D design and paid them Rs. *,**,*** (online) as the advisory & designing fees, which are non refundable. Post the approval of design (only), we visited them (Vishnu) and gave Vishnu advance sum of Rs. *,**,*** cash on **th October ****, as we thought we might take their services. After few days, we received the quotation for the interiors, which was way beyond our budget. We told them that we wish to abort from the project and kindly return the cash advance we paid. They rejected stating that they bought material worth Rs. **L at goodwill, and we have to purchase the material worth Rs. *L, but they cannot return the amount! This was never discussed, never mentioned anywhere, neither did we sign any document. All this while the company people rushed, e-mailed, msged & called us multiple times for the payment to order the materials, & suddenly when we requested to return our amount, they claim that they purchased materials already! How is that fair.

This is really sad, it's our hard earned money which is being stolen in this way. There has been absolutely no revert from them, no empathy for stealing our money. Hi In Concepts is a place of just fluff and no integrity.

Please guide and help us to get our money back.
