Indigo Airlines India - Additional Payments for Seating Together

A very ridiculous situation if u r travelling as a couple, with a companion or with a child, as a family, you can not seat together. All window and aisle seats are paid one except few middle ones. So if you want to travel together as you booked the tickets together, you have to shell out extra money just to seat together. That too in this pandemic times, where spread so be reduced by allowing sitting together.
The irony does not stop here. If the airline asks you to change the aircraft in between then again you have to pay for the seat for both legs though you have a single ticket and your destination is one only.
This is highly ridiculous and pathetic. Such an advisory shd be issued before booking of the tickets that you need to shell out extra money for even seating. That is not free.
On top of it, the free seats are a meagre percentage of the total seats. So very few would be lucky to get free seats even at middle levels and even after seating at other places.
